My Poetries

Ah! Those days

Those days of Fun and Laugher,
Those days which went faster and faster,
Those days of homework fears,
Those people who were far and near,
Those times which were sometimes bad,
Those pranks which made others sad,
Those friends who left an inevitable impression,
Those enemies who caused great depression,
Those days of speeches and dances,
Those oppurtunities and those a many chances,
Those teachers who shouted and scolded,
Those times when our future they moulded,
Those games which we all enjoyed,
Those punishments which made us annoyed,
Those craft and computer classes,
Those assemblies and all those masses,
Those horrid test and exam days,
Those memorable times of joy and gay....

HOW CAN I FORGET THEM...!!!!

School Times - The Golden Era

Not sure of the exact date when I got registered into the Lower KG class. Cannot check with my parents either ..guess they would not be able to recall too...But March 6th 1998, Friday...The day when we all retired from the twelve year bonding...They say Every exit is an entry somewhere...I could see no entries at that point..but only closed doors...Did not have to think till then what next... All was preset...But what now?..what should be done next?.What does our future have in store?. Too many questions unanswered. I was petrified with the thought of leaving this place..more petrified with the idea of landing in an all new place...Till then it was My World. Now I could see it shattering...my school, my uncertain future and my own sweet "Chweet Pearls"

The high school days was the golden era of my life...Academically was at the high and to compliment all that was the dance, debate and elocution competitions....and with my set of friends to add the well required spice to my life..."Chweet Pearls"..this was the name of my little gang..Nisha, Sini, Deepthi, Smitha,Dhanyashree, Sowmya and Babitha...Have freaked out a loooooooooot with this gang(as we called ourselves). Played a number of pranks too..My most memorable times are the Bombay Trip, Tumkur Camp, Evening Tuitions, Dance competions(Basically the ones which we have won the First place-which we normally did) and the Toastmasters-The elocution and speech training and competition. Bombay Trip was meant to be for 5 nights and 6 days...However on the 5th day we were informed that the trip had been extended by a day..i.e 6 nights and 7 days..There was supposedly a mis-communication between the school management and the travel agent...Whatsoever..Whoseever Loss...but twas our gain..Was like Food for the hungry.....Our joy knew no bounds..
Tumkur camp was another wonderful trip. Being in Guides club required us to go on camps often(the very reason for joining this club)...We met people from all over India coz it was an all Indian guides and scouts meet..A large ground and a larger number of people..Had a lot of adventure climbs, trekking, outdoor games and met a large number of people..from Adaman, Kashmir, WB..and many other states..We had to sleep in tents, in class rooms (along with the ants and instects)and had to fight our way to find place..and we would have just fallen asleep and the wake up call rings. We would need to be at the morning prayer at 5.00 am. With half sleep and halfer heart to wake up, we were at the prayer service singing the Guides and scouts song...Many falling asleep while singing itself...
Chweet Pearls...mmmm what shall I say..we had a ball of a time..together...

Those were the days....
